UCSD MFA Graduation
This is a rewind post y’all.
March 21, 2009…I wrapped up my lifetime school career as I received my Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from UC San Diego.
Grad school had its highs and lows. People always ask if I made the right choice to come here and whether I learned what I had hoped. The short answer is yes, I definitely think this was the best way to spend three years not only because I learned the things I hoped I would but also I learned much from the not so happy moments. Sometimes, those situations you find yourself in where you’re sighing, sucking your teeth, and swearing incessantly are the ones where if you allow yourself, you can gain the most perspective to better handle the future, endless shitty situations this world can lay on you. One cannot appreciate rewards, if one does not endure struggles.
