Guns, Tasers, and Trailers

7/12/09

Wrapped the gig on Friday.  Here are the last photos from set that day which was up in Santa Clarita.  Beautiful.  Hot as balls.

Overall, a tremendous learning experience, tons of pressure, tons of fun.  Let’s see how it turns out in January folks!

More pics. Taken from my prop phone. Which was live, and someone called me during a take. Awkward.

YO.   Update on my “24″ gig, it’s a recurring guest star now…ridiculous. Can’t wait to get back on set…very steep learning curve out there yall, hard…definitely hard, but fun as hell. Kiefer Sutherland, very pro, very cool. So I walk into my trailer and read the call sheet thinking “hmm, I wonder who’s playing my senior asshole NYPD partner…”  The finger scans down the page and BAM it’s fuckin Domenick Lombardozzi.  Now, if you’ve talked to me in the last couple of months, you know that I’ve watched the entire series of “The Wire” pretty much straight through.  Domenick played “Herc” on that show and Vince’s friend Dom in Entourage.  Fuckin awesome.  Met Andre Royo “Bubbles” (who I played in Showcase!) at an audition, really cool dude.  Watched Deirdre Lovejoy “Rhonda Pearlman” kill it in a reading…amazing. Also, met J.D. Williams “Bodie” and went to the gun range with him and Peter, the night before my first day on set because I didn’t wanna play a cop without ever bustin off some shots…yea son! So anyway, connected with quite a few peeps from my favorite TV show ever…very exciting indeed. And now, some photos.

Congrats bro! Were all those guys and gals auditioning for 24 too or for something else? It would be great to have the cast of The Wire reunite on “24″, The Wire was such a great show.

Thanks man, it’s definitely a fun gig. Only Domenick from The Wire is on the show, all the other people I just happened to meet. Although it would be tremendous to have them make cameos on 24…The Wire, I agree is my favorite TV show of all time. Cheers, and thanks for visiting.

Thanks for the photos from the set. It must have been so exciting. I can’t wait for January. Can you tell us more about Kiefer?

Ah. Kiefer. He’s great at his job, which is of course, the lead actor on the show, but he’s also, of course, an EP so he gets to call a lot of shots. He’s very demanding but in the way that I respect and in the way that made me do my best work possible. Good man.

I had the pleasure of meeting him at the VIP Event at the Redemption premiere in NYC. What a lovely gentleman. No one knows Jack like Kiefer, so I expect he would be demanding. Who directed the episodes you were in?

Hella from the East Coast! Will you be at the Comic-Con panel? Glad to see another Asian made it in the entertainment business.

Comic-con? Maybe next year if some projects line up the way they do, I’ll be there…

Hey, man. Can u tell us some about the plot of the show this season

The world is in deep shit and Jack Bauer, with the help of friends including yours truly, is able to save the day. Haha, sorry buddy, I’m sure FOX would hate it if I got too candid with the spoilers. It does take place in NYC though, which is exciting. Catch it starting January and enjoy!

Lol, yeah they might be a little mad. One more thing, do u know if this is going to be the last season? Even if u did, I’m sure fox wouldn’t like u telling since they haven’t yet. But, do u know if they’ve even decided yet? I mean I would be angry if this were the last season

I have no idea if it’s the last season or not. But I personally wouldn’t be surprised if it is. I think if you set out to do 9 seasons, you’ll get pressured to do 10…and that seems like a lot. I think 8 would be a perfect number for everyone to move on from.
